Description
Lightweight and durable, the 901 Series Drysuit is designed to offer maximum flexibility while maintaining superior waterproofness. The 901 is made from Parmasoft Active™ trilaminate material consisting of a 100% butyl rubber core sandwiched between two layers of 100% polyester. With a material weight of 370 g/m2, Parmasoft Active™ is around 30% lighter than common drysuit fabrics while maintaining the same strength as tested in the latest CE standards. High wear areas such as the knees, elbows, and crotch feature reinforcement pads for added abrasion resistance.
Using an innovative gluing and stitching process, the 901 series features a hidden seam with no visible stitching. Seams are fortified on the inside of the suit with seal tape for waterproofness and to prevent wear. All suits undergo an extensive leak test before leaving the factory.
Front zip entry using a high quality YKK Aquaseal™ zipper is standard on the 901 series. An outer sheath with zipper gives added protection to the main zipper against wear and debris. The telescoping torso provides ease of donning and is held down by an integrated crotch strap.
The Si Tech swivel inlet valve and adjustable, automatic exhaust valve allow for fine tune adjustment of the suit volume for total comfort and buoyancy control. The system comes complete with an included 31-inch low-pressure inflator hose.
Divers have the option of latex seals or the Si Tech ring system featuring user-replaceable silicone seals.
Durable latex neck and wrist seals work to keep water out even while bending and flexing. The seals can be easily trimmed to assure a comfortable fit.
Si Tech SLÄGGÖ wrist and ORUST neck ring systems allow for the use of silicone seals that some divers prefer for their stretch and comfort. The ring system also allows for field repair of torn seals and the easy integration of dry gloves.
The attached neoprene boot is extremely durable, with a rubber sole and coated toe. With their low profile design, most divers can use the same size fin as they do with wet suit boots.
Large pockets on both thighs provide ample storage. A webbing loop on the inside of the pocket allows for attaching cord or bungee, while a designated internal sleeve is perfect for wet note storage. The closure flap of each pocket includes a small zipper compartment for smaller items. A NATO approved mesh bottom allows for quick draining when exiting the water.
Available in sizes XS to 2XL, with short and tall versions available for each size. Custom “made-to-measure” suits are available for divers that do not fit a standard size.
Also included with each 901 series drysuit are a deluxe 5mm hood and 35 L Ortlieb dry bag for storage.
