The NX ZEN emerges as a manifestation of XDEEP’s passion to deviate from this established tradition and transition from functional designs to ones that deliver an unprecedented level of performance. Through a meticulous deconstruction of conventional models and leveraging XDEEP’s profound technical diving experience, the ZEN wing introduces a groundbreaking shift in BCD design and functionality. Purposefully crafted with a narrow profile, the ZEN wing avoids protruding from the tank’s side, offering advantages such as improved buoyancy control, reduced entanglement hazards, and significantly diminished drag. This reduction in drag not only enhances gas consumption but also enables longer and safer dives. The innovative approach involves optimizing the traditionally large central dead zone found in wings, reallocating the space more effectively to substantially decrease the dead zone and, consequently, minimize the overall bladder size.
